Nos acompa\u00f1ar\u00e1 <strong>XAVIER G\u00dcELL<\/strong> para conversar sobre <strong>LA VIDA BUENA Y LA M\u00daSICA QUE NOS CONSTRUYE<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>La m\u00fasica tiene una capacidad extraordinaria para crear mundos compartidos. Con muy pocas palabras \u2014o sin ninguna\u2014 puede emocionarnos, consolarnos y unirnos. Pero esa misma fuerza que acerca a las personas tambi\u00e9n ha sido utilizada por los totalitarismos para movilizar multitudes y reforzar identidades colectivas.<\/p>\n<p>\u00bfPuede la m\u00fasica ayudarnos a construir otros mundos? \u00bfFue testigo de los grandes cambios del siglo XX o contribuy\u00f3 a impulsarlos? A lo largo de ese siglo, numerosos compositores rompieron con lo establecido y abrieron nuevas formas de escuchar, pensar y sentir. \u00bfQu\u00e9 mundos imagin\u00f3 aquella m\u00fasica? \u00bfQu\u00e9 mundos est\u00e1 imaginando la de nuestro tiempo?<\/p>\n<p>Conversaremos con Xavier G\u00fcell, escritor y director de orquesta, sobre esa doble condici\u00f3n de la m\u00fasica: su capacidad para despertar lo mejor de nosotros y, al mismo tiempo, para ponerse al servicio de los proyectos m\u00e1s oscuros. Juntos exploraremos c\u00f3mo la m\u00fasica nos ayuda a imaginar, habitar y, quiz\u00e1, transformar el mundo.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Xavier G\u00fcell<\/strong> (Barcelona, 1956) es escritor y director de orquesta. Se form\u00f3 con maestros como Franco Ferrara, Sergiu Celibidache y Leonard Bernstein. Ha dirigido orquestas en Espa\u00f1a y otros pa\u00edses y ha desempe\u00f1ado un papel destacado en la difusi\u00f3n de la m\u00fasica contempor\u00e1nea, impulsando proyectos como Musicadhoy y Operadhoy. En 2015 public\u00f3 \u00abLa m\u00fasica de la memoria\u00bb, a la que siguieron \u00abLos prisioneros del para\u00edso\u00bb (2017) y \u00abYo, Gaud\u00ed\u00bb (2019). Desde 2021 desarrolla \u00abEl cuarteto de la guerra\u00bb, una tetralog\u00eda que explora las relaciones entre la m\u00fasica, la creaci\u00f3n art\u00edstica y el poder pol\u00edtico a trav\u00e9s de cuatro grandes compositores del siglo XX.
